Curaçao is an island in the Caribbean, among the group known as the ABC Islands alongside Aruba and Bonaire. One of the most notable things about the island is its culture. Curaçao has a nice blend of Caribbean, European, and Latino culture. The streets and buildings look European, but the people, the food, the music and the colourful street markets have a distinctly Caribbean flair. Willemstad is the capital of Curaçao. Willemstad has a gorgeous old town. Many of the buildings were constructed in the colonial Dutch manner in the early 18th century. The facades of these buildings are a kaleidoscope of colours ranging from pastel tints to vibrant blues, greens, reds, purples, jades, and buffs in a wide variety of shades. "Saint Martin is an island in the northeast Caribbean, approximately 300 km east of Puerto Rico. It is the smallest inhabited sea island divided between two nations, the division dates to 1648. The southern Dutch part comprises Sint Maarten and is one of four constituent countries that form the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The northern French part comprises the Collectivité de Saint-Martin (Collectivity of St. Martin) and is an overseas collectivity of France. The most importants places to see in Saint Martin are the Butterfly farm, stroll through hundreds of colorful butterflies under a tented mesh and the Pic du Paradis, is the highest point on the island with two viewing areas that provide great views. Also beaches are a main attraction on the island of Saint Martin, it has 37 beaches total one particularly famous beach is Maho Bay beach on the "Dutch side".
