Philadelphia is the biggest city in the state of Pennsylvania, the second biggest city on the East Coast of the United States, and the fifth most populous city in the United States. It's situated in the North-eastern United States along the Delaware and Schuylkill rivers, and it's the only consolidated city-county in Pennsylvania. At Franklin Court, we come across the Christ Church Burial Ground, another well-known landmark, where Ben Franklin and four other signers of the Declaration of Independence were laid to rest. The Congress Hall was the residence of the first Congress. In addition to this, George Washington and John Adams were inaugurated here, and the Bill of Rights was ratified right inside. Philadelphia's most famous attraction, the Liberty Bell was rung to mark the hearing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. The Bell weighs 2,000 pounds, which might not be obvious just by looking at it. Philadelphia is a fantastic city to visit. It's welcoming and steeped in history and has a great blend of old and new and of historic and modern. There are plenty of sites, restaurants, clubs, and museums to keep you occupied, along with several open space parks scattered throughout the centre and, of course, the rivers, which contribute to the tranquillity of this lively city.

Departure: 10:00
Bermuda is a self-governing British Overseas Territory in the Atlantic Ocean, north of the Caribbean and off the east coast of North America, opposite North Carolina. With blue skies, clean air, warm weather, stunning beaches, a relaxed atmosphere and welcoming locals, the island offers excellent sightseeing and plenty to keep you busy.
The waters around Bermuda are ideal for spotting marine life, swimming, diving, snorkelling, sailing, fishing and more.
Hamilton is the island’s main city and administrative centre. It has shops, a world-class harbour, restaurants and pretty much everything a visitor could want. It’s a beautiful place, all pink and white against the blue of the waterfront. One of the city’s great simple pleasures is sitting on a balcony on Front Street and watching life go by below. Front Street is a brilliant spot for shopping, eating out, or just looking out over the harbour as the cruise ships come and go.

Day 7
saint john,nb (bay of fundy)
Arrival: 07:00
-
Departure: 14:00
Saint John is a port city on the Atlantic Ocean, located on the Bay of Fundy in the province of New Brunswick, Canada. It is the oldest incorporated city in Canada, established by royal charter on 18 May 1785 during the reign of King George III. The port is Canada’s third-largest by tonnage, handling dry and liquid bulk, break bulk, containers, and cruise traffic. The city was the most populous in New Brunswick until the 2016 census, when it was overtaken by Moncton. It is now the second-largest city in the province, with a population of 67,575 over an area of 315.96 km² (121.99 sq mi).
French colonist Samuel de Champlain landed at Saint John Harbour on 24 June 1604 (the feast of St John the Baptist), which is also when the Saint John River received its English name, although the Mi’kmaq and Wolastoqiyik peoples had lived in the region for thousands of years before that, calling the river Wolastoq. The Saint John area was an important centre for trade and defence in Acadia during the French colonial era, and Fort La Tour, in the city’s harbour, was a pivotal battleground during the Acadian Civil War.
After more than a century of disputes between the French and English over the land around Saint John, the English deported the French colonists in 1755 and built Fort Howe above the harbour in 1779. In 1785, the City of Saint John was created by uniting the two towns of Parrtown and Carleton on either side of the harbour, following the arrival of thousands of refugees from the American Revolution who wanted to remain British and were forced to leave their homes in the United States. Over the following century, waves of immigration through Partridge Island, especially during the Great Famine, fundamentally changed the city’s demographics and culture.
